CanRobo – CR1000

The CanRobo is a compact and robust air velocity measurement device that is deployed in underground roadways and is spaced at regular intervals. It provides a go or no-go visual indication for non-flameproof vehicles and personnel. The unit is pre-set for the minimum allowable airflow in the haulage. If the airflow drops below that threshold then the indication will change from green to red.

Conveyor Trip Switch (Pullkey) – IPS1000

The IPS1000 Pullkey System consists of a Controller and up to 99 Pullkeys. The Controller is situated at the head end. The Pullkey has a mechanical switch with a pilot contact, a pre-start alarm and identification of the lock-out number. The pilot relay provides a secondary lockout facility.

The Fuel Management System (FMS3000) automates the fuel dispensing resource in your organisation, reducing fuel loss (theft) and eases the operational and administrative load in this area.  It will also provide management information for better planning and control.The system design caters for small and large operations.

Basic Operation:
The Fuel Management System (FMS3000) system comprises of:

  • Computer situated in the administrative office
  • The fuel pump controller (FPC) is connected to the computer (FDC) and also to the petrol (fuel pump
  • The petrol attendant gets access to pumps by presenting his tag to the FPC reader
  • The quantity of fuel dispensed to that vehicle is recorded via the FPC to the computer

I.S. Intercom System – IC4001

 

The intercom system consists of a Charger (which must be installed in a safe area or flameproof enclosure) and up to 5 audio units. The total number of audio units can be extended to 10 if another charger is used. The maximum distance is 1km on a 0.5mm2 cable. This is an ‘open’ system which broadcasts to all audio units simultaneously. A small battery in each audio unit supplies power to the speaker amplifiers and is used as ‘battery back-up’ in case of power failure. The system will normally use a screened cable but will operate with unscreened cable in low (electrical) noise environments.

The PSU3000 is a mainspowered 12V 1A Exia power supply. The PSU3000 has been designed for use in Exia Intrinsically Safe Systems. It also has an auxiliary non-I.S. 12V 420mA output for powering of instrumentation. Two protected fail-safe relay contacts are available for status monitoring and LED indicators have been provided or diagnostic purposes.

Mine Rescue Communication – RB 2000

The Rescue System is a compact portable communication system that consists of a remote control unit (RCU); a battery operated base station and a set of SC 2000 portable radios. The deployment of this system is quick and voice communication is available immediately on the initiation of the rescue operation. Distances of up to 1 km can be achieved when using the loop antenna option and up to 10km when using the life line option. To get the full advantage of the RB2000 System, both options should be used simultaneously. The SC 2000 radio has its microphone and speaker attached to the bandolier allowing a relatively hands free operation. Silec Magnetic Switches

These Magnetic switches are normally used for control and detection of moving bodies. Switch consists of two changeover contacts that operate simultaneously on a movable plate and is controlled by permanent magnets contained within the switch.

Two types of switches are available, each with a different operating action;

The Automatic Reset (1892RA and 1919RA) switch is operated by the approach of the inductor and is only maintained as long as the inductor is within the operating zone. On leaving the proximity of the switch, the contacts will return to their original position.

With the 2-position (1892PS and 1919PS) switch the contacts are operated by the movement of the inductor whilst in the proximity of the switch and remain in that position until such time as they are operated by the passage of the inductor.

Two types of magnets are available:

Airwolf II – AW1000
