CanRobo – CR1000

The CanRobo is a compact and robust air velocity measurement device that is deployed in underground roadways and is spaced at regular intervals. It provides a go or no-go visual indication for non-flameproof vehicles and personnel. The unit is pre-set for the minimum allowable airflow in the haulage. If the airflow drops below that threshold then the indication will change from green to red.

Airwolf II – AW1000

The Airwolf II is a handheld air velocity sensor which has been tested and proven over a long duration in harsh South African underground mining conditions. It uses the Vortex Shedding principle to accurately measure air velocity. There are no moving parts making the instrument highly insensitive to dust, temperature and humidity. The unit comes with a leather pouch for easy belt attachment.

TriSens – TRI3000

The TriSens is a rugged Intrinsically Safe Underground Environmental Monitoring device. It can be integrated into existing Industrial Ethernet and PLC networks to give a real-time status indication in the Control Room on SCADA. The sensor has fire-patrol facility to time stamp underground inspection readings.

The Standard TriSens accurately measures:

FSS3000
The FSS3000 is a fail-safe, self-contained strobe that can be used to indicate the status of a device, e.g. the alarm status of an environmental monitor.

NetFep Gateway
The NetFep Gateway provides Intrinsically Safe data communication to the TriSens utilizing very robust FSK modem technology. The outbound side of this Gateway provides data communication to Industrial Ethernet and PLC systems utilizing Modbus RTU (RS232/RS485) and Modbus TCP interfaces.

Dual Airflow Meter – DA1000

The Dual Airflow Meter is deployed as a fixed position unit for underground haulages and measures air velocity in two directions. The Vortex method of air speed detection offers the advantage of a once off calibration and is not sensitive to dust and moisture. The unit gives 2 x 4 – 20mA outputs for use with Data Acquisition Equipment such as PLC’s. Measuring airflow from 0-15m/s with an accuracy of ±5%.

SafeMet – SM1000

The SafeMet Methane Standalone Sensor is part of the Guduza Econo Series range. This robust device is typically deployed in haulages, giving a go or no-go indication of methane levels above set point in the immediate area. The lens provides a very visible 360º green and red indication for below and above the set point measurement.The alarm levels is factory set according to the client’s required set point.

These sensors are Compact Environmental Monitoring units. These units can be integrated into SCADA/PLC networks to give a real time status indication in the control room as well as on the sensor itself.
