THE SMOKESENS
GROWING WITH US: ADVANCED SMOKE DETECTION.
As smoke is the primary visual indication of a fire, the Smokesens was designed to
detect smoke density effectively, using optical obscurity technology. False alarms
caused by stone dust have greatly been minimised in the latest design This
information can also be sent to the surface control room for trending and alarming.

SMS DERAILMENT DEVICE
SEAMLESS SAFETY IN MOTION: RELIABLE CONNECTIVITY. ULTIMATE SAFETY.
Our derailment device ensures uninterrupted safety with real-time monertoring and immediate responce. No matter the track conditions.
- Detects Derailment: Inductive sensor
detects the metal rail, ensuring
continuous monitoring. - Tilt Detection: System digital signal
falls away if conveyance derails or
tilts away from the rail. - Immediate Response: Relay at
surface panel de-energises if the
sensor does not detect the rail,
providing an instant indication of
derailment.
- No Dead Spots: Continuous communication as long as the VRS coupler sees
the cable. - Direction Changes and Curves: System communication unaffected by changes
in track direction or curves. - Easy to Repair: Simplified maintenance and repairs due to the system design.
- Carrier Signal Relay: Energised relay indicates good signal; relay falls away
when the signal is lost.
- Communication via long wire antenna

that transmits/receives signals into

5 WAY DAMPER CONTROL PANEL
DETECTS DANGER AHEAD OF TIME, ENSURING SAFE EVACUATION.
In the case of fire or toxic gases, such as carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, or
smoke in the mine’s air intake, this can be detected at a pre-determined level and
automatically switch the ventilation louver (Smoke Damp), forcing the contaminated
air to be redirected to the return. This allows workers additional time to evacuate to
a safe location with less contaminated air.

NON IS SENSORS
ON-SITE CALIBRATION AT 6-MONTH INTERVALS.
A series of economical gas sensors for Non-IS applications. Available in all gas types such as: CO, CO2 CH4, H2S, SO2, NH3 as well as environmental condition sensors such as Velocity, Temperature, Bio-metric Pressure. All Gas types can be accommodated as long as the sensor head is availible

MULTISENS (OLD TRISENS)
ENSURE OPTIMAL SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY UNDERGROUND.
The MultiSens accurately measures airflow, carbon monoxide (CO) and methane (CH4) and is housed in an IP65 single stainless steel enclosure.
- Measures CO (Carbon Monoxide),
CH4 (Methane), Air Velocity, and
Ambient Temperature. - Fire patrol digital input for
maintenance control. - Measurements via external push
button. - The MultiSens is a compact NON-IS /
Intrinsically Safe (IS) environmental
monitoring unit, Exia Group I

CAN ROBO
THE UNIT MEASURES AIRSPEED BY COMPARING THE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SENSOR EXPOSED TO THE AIR AND ONE IN A CHAMBER.
The Can Robo is a compact, robust Air Velocity Robot that us spaced regularly in underground roadways to indicate a go/no go air velocity indication for the passing traffic. The unit works on a temperature differential to determine the airspeed by comparing the difference between two sensors, one in the air ( visual probe) and one in the chamber.
These units work from a 220V supply and have battery backup for power down situations
The thermister probe is housed in a removable jack plug for easy repair and calibration,. This means only the probe, and the entire unit must not be remove.
The total Equipment does not have to be sent to the surface ,as the jack containing the electronics can be sent out for repair and calibration by itself.
As air flow over the probe or thermistor, the temperature drops, and the unit, once reaching m/s, goes Green. When the LED turns Red that is the indication for the vehicle to stop.
